Thor Love and Thunder Movie Review!

Thor: Love & Thunder is an emotional, humorous, romantic, and fantastic superhero movie that warmly welcomes newbies to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thor as well as deepens the character for devoted fans.
The rougher, darker direction most series have recently taken off clearly contrasts with Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika Waiti’s approach to superhero movies. While “Batman 2022,” starring Robert Pattinson, presented a gritty, down-to-earth version of the caped crusader, “Spiderman: No Way Home (2021)” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)” explored the multiverse and introduced psychological thriller and horror elements to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Infusing new life and zest into the character with his quite wonderful “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017), Taika’s distinctive fusion of vivid storytelling and offbeat humour has single-handedly rejuvenated the Thor franchise, which was in the doldrums after the catastrophic “Thor: The Dark World (2013).”

This movie is really a fabulous superhero movie by Taiki Waititi. Although some viewers might think there are too many jokes in this film, they are actually very well-balanced with the slower, more reflective periods. The character development that Waititi provides for Chris Hemsworth is marvellous. By the time the credits roll, we witness a Thor who is much more open to love, not in spite of but because of that loss. Thor has endured so much loss in his life and is hesitant to open up.

Speaking of Chris Hemsworth, he excels once more in portraying his character; nevertheless, he may come out as a little pompous in the first and second portions of the film.

The 80s soundtrack music significantly enhanced the mood Taika Waititi was looking for, and I believe it succeeded. The visual effects were quite amazing and not your typical Marvel production, with the heroes fighting a CGI monster against a gloomy backdrop. Thor’s lightning energy and Zeus’ lightning bolt both made for stunning images.
Overall, this was a wonderful film that moved the Marvel Cinematic Universe forward. If I had any concerns, it would be that Jane Foster and Thor the God butcher’s characters could have used a little more development, but aside from that, I would heartily suggest this film to both MCU and sci-fi lovers.
